Pee Dee

PEE DEE - Pee Dee is located in Southern Montgomery County.  It is near the Pee Dee River which comes from the Catawba Indian "pi'ri" (something good) or "pfhere" (smart; expert; capable).

Pee Dee is home to Lefler's Place, which has been in operation since 1922.
