Healing Springs
HEALING SPRINGS - Located along NC Highway 8 in Southern Davidson County, Healing Springs is one of the oldest communities in this part of the county. A post office was established here in 1834 and throughout the 1800s visitors would travel here to cure their ailments. Today, Healing Springs is a quiet rural area near High Rock Lake. The crossroads that is where Healing Springs is located today has an old corner store that was once where you could get bait, tackle, and your fishing license.
