2009 Wake Forest Autumn Arts Festival
Saturday, October 10th was the Annual Wake Forest Autumn Arts Festival. The festival features numerous arts & crafts vendors selling a variety of goods from jewelry to paintings to woodwork. There's also live performances as well - live music, story tellers, dance troupes, and more perform on two stages.
The Progressive Music Center sponsored live music.
Claire the Story Teller entertained a youthful audience:
I missed out on meeting James best - who played Sheriff Rosco P. Coltrane on the Dukes of Hazard.
Though it threatened rain all day - there was a nice crowd late in the afternoon.
These little items were the most popular item of the festival. They were everywhere - in fact the gentleman selling these sold all but one.
