Delight

DELIGHT - A small community along NC 10 in Northern Cleveland County.  Delight is about 12 miles north of Lattimore, which for an extremely brief period, 1887-88, was known as Delight.  A post office was here from 1888-1905.  The Delight Post Office was established only two months after the former Delight Post Office at Lattimore was renamed.
