Williams or Williams Crossroads and Williams Millpond

WILLIAMS or WILLIAMS CROSSROADS - is located at the intersection of highways 55 and 403 in Southern Wayne County.  It is named after the nearby Williams Millpond - which is named after Robert Williams who built and operated a corn mill on-site.

This crossroads was once a five points intersection, but Zion Church Road (which intersected where the car is at in the photo) was moved to intersect Highway 55 about 1/4 mile to the east.
