Henrietta

HENRIETTA - This Rutherford County community was also founded by Simpson B. Tanner, Sr.  Founded in 1887 - when Tanner built the Henrietta Mill - then the largest textile mill in the state.  The town is named after Tanner's mother-in-law, Henrietta McRae Spencer.
